Description of Services: |
Seating and Mobility clinicians recommend and
prescribe equipment to help children and youth be as independent as possible
leading an active life. The children/youth we see may need assistance in either
seating or mobility, or in both these areas in order to fulfill an active role
in the community in which they live. Service includes:

Eligibility - Population(s) Served: | children and youth living within Sarnia Lambton | ||
Application: |
Referrals by families themselves and also accepted from medical professionals. A referral made to Pathways is screened to determine if appropriate and if the needs cannot be met by community seating clinicians. Waiting Period: Varies depending upon staffing level and referral trends |
