Description of Services: The Chatham-Kent Health Alliance – Chatham Site, is one of five designated District Stroke Centres in Southwestern Ontario. As the designated District Stroke Centre for Chatham-Kent, CKHA’s Stroke team works collaboratively with many local organizations and disciplines to plan and implement strategies for improving stroke care for residents of Chatham-Kent. 

CKHA has been Accredited with Stroke Distinction through Accreditation Canada since 2022 reflecting the ongoing commitment to provide best practice stroke care.  

Services offered at the Chatham Site include: 
  • Hyper Acute Stroke Services
  • Urgent TIA/Secondary Stroke Prevention Clinic (SSPC)
  • Integrated Stroke Unit
  • Transitional Stroke Program
