Program: Windsor Regional Cancer Centre
Organization: Windsor Regional Hospital
Description of Services: A range of cancer services from preventative to end-of-life care, including:
  • cancer prevention and screening
  • supportive and palliative care services
  • research and innovation
Cancer services including radiation, chemotherapy, surgery, palliative medicine and supportive care are provided on an inpatient and outpatient (ambulatory) basis

Inpatient care in provided on 4 West at Windsor Regional Hospital, Met Campus

Outpatient care is provided at the Cancer Centre and specializes in Systemic (Chemo) Therapy

Windsor Regional Hospital is the sole provider of Radiation Therapy in the Erie St Clair Region
 
Indigenous Patient Navigator Provides support and advocates for the needs of FNIM patients with cancer and their families within the cancer program and with other groups involved in cancer care * addresses cultural and spiritual needs * works to improve access to cancer services for FNIM patients * part of network of 10 navigators across Ontario

Requirements
Fees: Fees are required for parking and for any forms completed by the physician
Application: All referrals go through WRCC's New Patient Referral Office directly. Waiting Period: Waiting periods fluctuate depending on the diagnosis
